Level: Students will be assessed and placed according to English language level. (Returning students may not be asked to come for an interview)

The classes will focus on the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Grammar is included within the teaching of these four skills. Classes will be offered at different levels based on demand/resources.

Places will be on a first come first served basis, however, priority will be given to newcomers. The date and time of the interview to assess your English language level will be confirmed by email on receipt of your registration form and course fee payment (the course book/materials fee is payable on the first day of class). Should you need to cancel, your payment will be refunded, provided you inform WBFN at least 5 days before the start of the course.

Note: If there are insufficient registrations, classes will be cancelled 4 days prior to the start date of the class.

Learn how to make a business presentation in English—presentation structure, creating audience rapport, visual aids, voice skills such as articulation and intonation, techniques for keeping audience attention, and key business terms. Participants will make numerous individual and group presentations, engage in culturally significant business exercises and learn the art of presenting with impact. In this course the value of team effort is introduced as preparation for the course that follows on business negotiations.

This course will provide an opportunity to develop and apply business negotiation skills that mesh with US business customs while maintaining sensitivity to cross cultural issues. The goal is to develop communicative competence in a business negotiating setting.
