How much sleep do we need? What is normal sleep? Approaches to insomnia?
Given the pressures and demands in our work and personal life, many of us get by on less sleep than we really need. This can result in cumulative sleep deprivation which contributes to decreased concentration, and has an impact on both work effectiveness and our well-being.

Dr. David Neubauer is an assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University Medical Center, and director of the Johns Hopkins Sleep Disorders Center. He will explain the functions of sleep, the causes of sleeplessness, and approaches to achieving a more restful sleep.
